COVID-19 Update
Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness
During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, it is important that we do whatever we can to flatten the curve and keep everyone safe. Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness is monitoring the constantly changing CDC guidelines and the guidelines of New Jersey and what is happening around the nation and world.
At this time Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness is primarily seeing patients virtually via telehealth and telewellness and in person, on a case-by-case basis. Studies have shown that much can be accomplished via telehealth. If you would like to set up an appointment for telehealth or telewellness please fill out new patient/client inquiry form. While currently it is in the best interest of the community for most patients to receive care at home virtually, for some patients in-person manual therapy is crucial to recovery.
Protecting your health and safety is most important. During this crisis, if you prefer to come in for direct care Renaissance is doing everything so that you feel safe and are able to enjoy the same level of care and attention to detail that existed before this crisis.
For patients in need of in-person care, the following protective measures have been put in place to help prepare you for your sessions.
What to Expect
-
Carefully monitoring and following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines for healthcare professionals.

-
Masks, gloves and other protective gear will be used during your treatment. Screening for COVID-19 symptoms, including a temperature check, will be done prior to patient care.

-
All patients will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms before arriving for their visit and will be given a temperature check at the entrance to the practice.

-
Patients will be required to wear a mask and will be asked to wash their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer prior to treatment. Gloves are also available upon request.

-
Appointments will be spaced to reduce the number of people in the office and to allow for treatment rooms, waiting areas and equipment to be cleaned and sanitized between patients.

-
In order to enforce social distancing, patients will be asked to arrive as close to their scheduled appointment time as possible.

-
The 24-hour late cancellation fee will be waived, at this time, for those who may have symptoms related to COVID-19 or believe they have been exposed to COVID-19.

-
In an effort to limit the number of individuals in the clinic, billing will be done remotely. Because of this, please complete paperwork in advance and use the credit-card-on-file option for payment. You will now also be able to pay via Simple Health online as well.

-
Patients are being asked to bring their own water/beverage to appointments.

The procedures outlined above are only a fraction of the health and safety measures implemented to make reopening and the transition back to in-person care safe. This is a challenging time for all of us. But if we work together we can resolve your physical therapy and fitness issues in a safe and effective way and also work towards helping to continue to flatten the curve and resolve this crisis.
